RESCUE MISSION ALLIANCE WELCOMES THE CITY CENTER INTO ITS MINISTRY NETWORK
VENTURA COUNTY, CA – Rescue Mission Alliance (RMA) is pleased to announce that The City Center, a transitional living community serving families in Ventura, has joined RMA’s growing network of ministries serving individuals, families, and women and children across Southern California.
The City Center will continue operating under the leadership of Executive Director Jim Duran, with its facility, programs, and day-to-day services remaining unchanged for the families it serves. The move brings The City Center under the administrative support of RMA, which has 54 years of regional expertise serving vulnerable populations throughout Southern California.
“The City Center has built something special in Ventura, and our goal is simply to help it grow stronger,” said Todd White, CEO of Rescue Mission Alliance. “Jim and his team will continue doing the work they do so well. What RMA brings is nearly five decades of infrastructure and experience that will help ensure this ministry is here for families for years to come.”
Donors and supporters of The City Center can expect their gifts to continue supporting local Ventura programs directly, with no changes to the leadership or services they’ve come to trust.
The addition of The City Center expands RMA’s reach as it continues its mission of providing shelter, recovery, and support services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness across the region.
