EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT – Joshua Leon, RMA VFB Warehouse Supervisor

Joshua Leon has been part of the RMA family for 17 years.

For Joshua, serving others is more than a job, it’s a way of life.

“I’ve learned that giving to the community, and serving others, is how God wants us to help. That’s why I do what I do,” he said.

Joshua has spent 17 years serving at RMA, including the past three years at RMA Valley Food Bank.

Over the years, he’s worked in nearly every area of the organization, from driving and dispatch to the thrift store and security.

Today, as Warehouse Supervisor, he oversees logistics, inventory, vendors and a team of dedicated volunteers who help get food to families throughout our community.

It’s important to Joshua to share RMA’s vision with every person who comes to serve, knowing the work happening at the Food Bank goes far beyond boxes and pallets.

“I tell every volunteer that what they do here isn’t just a job,” he said. “That because of what they’re doing here, because of their hard work, families are going to have a meal today.”

He’s also incredibly grateful to donors who make this work possible.

“We wouldn’t be here without you. It’s because of the people that want to help us help the community that we have the resources that we need to do just that. More than ever, we need you, the community needs you, so thank you for being a part of our mission.”
