Here’s what you made possible in 2025

As we reflect on the past year, we are deeply grateful for the hope you’ve made possible. Here are some updates on some of the men and women you’ve read about this year. Because of you, many reached incredible milestones: finding steady work and stable housing, restoring family relationships, deepening their walk with Christ, and even mentoring others beginning their recovery journey. These stories don’t end here. As we enter a new year, we invite you to continue walking alongside them and those still to come. Your partnership creates  second chances, restored relationships, and lives renewed with purpose. Thank you for your unwavering generosity.

Jasmin

“My past has been very complicated. It’s been quite a journey,” Jasmin shared. “I came from a broken home – very toxic, very dysfunctional. I never grew up with my dad and my mom was an alcoholic and a workaholic. She worked and she partied. I was always having to take care of her. There was a lot of abuse.”

Roger

When Roger was 4, he experienced his brother overdosing on heroin, and by his teens, Roger was using marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamines, and eventually heroin and fentanyl. By 19, he and his girlfriend had their first child, followed by two more.

Jason

In junior high, Jason and his mother were kicked out of their apartment and lived in her car for years. “My childhood, I didn’t really get to see,” Jason said. “I grew up pretty quick… (My mom) was doing drugs. I was always around drugs my whole life.”
