Volunteers like Logan are ‘vital’ to RMA AV

Logan is essential in maintaining proper inventory and making other volunteers feel comfortable.

RMA Antelope Valley is honored to partner with many incredible organizations and volunteers who generously give their time and talents-like Logan, who serves weekly in the warehouse alongside his Blue Livin’ Supports Coach, Victor Arnold. Blue Livin’ Supports is a dedicated agency that empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently, build confidence, and fully engage in their communities.

“One of the most rewarding parts of our work is our involvement with Rescue Mission Alliance Antelope Valley, which donates food to the homeless and supports churches and community groups-contributing to a larger purpose beyond ourselves,” Victor said.

With consistent support over the years, Logan has built strong routines and continues to make meaningful progress toward greater independence. Today, he is thriving-actively contributing by preparing and organizing pallets, assisting peers, and packaging supplies from RMA AV’s warehouse that are distributed to families, local organizations, and community partners.

“This young man has become such a valuable part of our food bank,” said RMA AV Warehouse Manager Rony Aguilar. “He helps ensure that we maintain weekly accurate inventory of donations and proper distribution of food to our pantries.

“Logan has also played such a vital role in helping every new volunteer get established with warehouse activities and making them feel welcomed. It has been such a pleasure seeing this young man grow and excel in his development.”
