Meadowlark Service League awards grant toward kitchen repairs and maintenance.

The Ventura County Rescue Mission would like to express its deepest thanks and appreciation again this year to the Meadowlark Service League. A generous grant of $5,000 from the league will be put to work immediately to perform repairs and maintenance needed in the kitchen area of the mission. We sincerely appreciate Meadowlark Service Leagues continuing support of the mission and the commitment and efforts they demonstrate to helping the less fortunate.

Livingston Memorial Awards Grant to Men and Women of RMA.

Rescue Mission Alliance would like to express its deepest appreciation and thanks to the Livingston Memorial Foundation for recently awarding an $8,000 grant to the Ventura County Rescue Mission and the Lighthouse Women & Children's Mission. The grant award will help to support case management staff, purchase drug testing equipment and supplies, and help the men and women participating in residential drug and alcohol recovery programs with public transportation services. We are truly honored to collaborate with the Livingston Memorial Foundation again this year to help men and women in recovery to improve their lives. Thank you for your continued support!

 

Employees Community Fund of Boeing helps in maintenance of food preparation area.

Ventura County Rescue Mission is pleased to acknowledge the on-going support of the Employees Community Fund of Boeing – Southern California. The Employees Community Fund recently awarded a $3,000 grant to support the cost of much needed repairs, maintenance, and upgrades in the food preparation area of the mission. The mission sincerely appreciates their support and the collaboration of efforts to alleviate hunger and food insecurity among the homeless and poor in Ventura County. A special thank you from all of us to all the employees at Boeing for giving so generously.
